WebSurface Book 2 keeps detaching and attaching. I have a 6 months old surface book 2 (i5), and it keeps detaching and reattaching the screen by itself. It happens more often if I touch the screen or move the laptop, but sometimes just happens by itself. I tried cleaning the connectors, and doesn't seem to help. WebI've just recently started using WSL-2 myself and noticed the same problem, not being able to detach the screen of the surface book 2. Instead of restarting, whenever I am done using WSL-2 I do this and voila, I can detach the screen without a problem. Try this: open cmd or powershell 2. type: 'wsl --shutdown' (that's two dashes)
